Day 01: Beng Mealea and Koh Keh Group
Pick up at hotel and transfer to visit Beng Mealea, built as a Hindu temple, but there are some carvings depicting Hinduism doctrine. Its primary material is sandstone and it is largely undestroyed, with trees and thick brush thriving amidst its towers and courtyards and many of its stones lying in great heaps. Then, go to visit the World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2023, Koh Ke temple Group, a remote archaeological site in northern Cambodia. It is a very jungle filled region that is sparsely populated. More than 180 sanctuaries were found in a protected area of 81 square kilometers (31 sq mi). Back to Siem Reap and drop off.
Day 02: Preh Vihear Temple & Residence of former leaders of Khmer Rough
We go to The World Heritage Site recognized by UNESCO, Preh Vihear temple, an ancient Hindu temple built during the reign of the Khmer Empire, that is situated atop a 525-metre cliff in the Dengrek mountain. In 1962, following a lengthy dispute between Thailand and Cambodia over ownership, the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in The Hague ruled that the temple is in Cambodia. After that, we visit Ta Mok’s house and Pol Pot’s grave, a former leader of Khmer Rough, in Anlong Veng district. Back to Siem Reap and drop off.
