Day 01: Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom & Ta Prohm

  • Morning: Your private guide and driver will pick you up directly from your hotel lobby. Begin your exploration at the legendary Angkor Wat, the world’s largest religious monument and a masterpiece of 12th-century Khmer architecture. Built by King Suryavarman II and dedicated to Vishnu, its stunning bas-reliefs and iconic towers form the proud symbol of Cambodia. Next, journey into the ethereal jungle temple of Ta Prohm (The Ancestor Brahma), where massive fig, banyan, and kapok tree roots violently embrace and entwine with ancient stone walls and corridors. (Break for lunch)

  • Afternoon: Enter the ancient royal city of Angkor Thom through its monumental South Gate, famously flanked by rows of guardian gods (devas) and demons (asuras) holding the giant serpent Shesha. Explore the mystical Bayon Temple, featuring more than 200 serene giant stone faces and vivid bas-reliefs depicting ancient everyday life and historical battles. Continue your walking tour past the 11th-century Baphoun, the historic Phimeanakas, the grand Terrace of the Elephants, and the Terrace of the Leper King before returning to your hotel.

Day 02: Floating Village & Handicraft Center

  • Morning: After breakfast, head out toward the great Tonle Sap Lake to visit Chong Kneas, a fascinating floating village. Board a traditional boat to witness the unique way of life where local Cambodian, Cham, and Vietnamese communities thrive in harmony with the changing water levels, and visit a local crocodile farm.

  • Afternoon: On your way back to town, stop by Les Artisans d’Angkor, a fine arts school and workshop where skilled local artisans craft stunning wood and stone carvings, lacquerware, silver-plated goods, and silk paintings. Conclude your tour with a convenient drop-off at your hotel.
