Day 1 : Hariharaliya Group & Lady Temple

Pick up you at hotel and transfer to visit Prah Ko Hinduism temple built in 879 AD to dedicate his ancestor: the king’s parents, maternal grandparents, and a previous king, Jayavarman II and his wife. You will see a lot of stucco on the bricks of each tower. Then, visit Bakong Temple, the first mountain temple in Angkorian Period. It was built in 881 AD. The most interesting feature is 5 tier temple and surrounded by moat and dedicated to Siva (Hindu). Next, visit Lolei built on an islet in the center of a large reservoir. Now there is a Buddhist temple inside the compound of temple. After that, go to visit Banteay Srei temple (10th century) regarded as the jewel in the crown of classical Khmer art. Banteay Srei was a new name which meaning in Khmer is “Citadel of Woman”. Finally we go to visit Banteay Samre, one of the most complete complexes at Angkor due to restoration using the method of “anastylosis”. Back to hotel and drop off.

Day 2 : Angkor Thom, Taprohm & Angkor Wat

Our tour guide and driver will meet you at the lobby of hotel at 8 am. Then, we are going to Angkor Thom, which includes South gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon, Bapoun, Pimean Akas, Terrece of Elephant, Terrace of Leper king. Then, continue visiting Taprom temple. Break for lunch

Afternoon: Visit Angkor Wat, first a Hindu, then subsequently a Buddhist, temple complex in Cambodia and the largest religious monument in the world. The temple was built by the Khmer King Suryavarman II in the early 12th century in Yasodharapura ( present-day Angkor), the capital of the Khmer Empire, as his state temple and eventual mausoleum. Breaking from the Shivaism tradition of previous kings, Angkor Wat was instead dedicated to Vishnu. As the best-preserved temple at the site, it is the only one to have remained a significant religious center since its foundation. The temple is at the top of the high classical style of Khmer Architecture. It has become a symbol of Cambodia, appearing on the Cambodian National Flag. Back to the town and drop off at hotel.

Day 3 : Jungle Temple & Koh Keh Group

After breakfast, transfer to visit Beng Mealea lost in the jungle and almost forgotten by the local population and takes 50 km from the town. Next, visit Koh Ker temple group. The archaeological site of Koh Ker, UNESCO on September 17, 2023, is a sacred urban ensemble of numerous temples and sanctuaries including sculptures, inscriptions, wall paintings, and archaeological remains. Constructed over a twenty-three-year period, it was one of two rival Khmer Empire capitals – the other being Angkor – and was the sole capital from 928 to 944 CE. Established by King Jayavarman IV, his sacred city was believed to be laid out on the basis of ancient Indian religious concepts of the universe. The new city demonstrated unconventional city planning, artistic expression and construction technology, especially the use of very large monolithic stone blocks. On the way back, we visit Tonle Sap Lake (the largest fresh water in South East Asia) to see the fascinating floating Village called Kompong Khleang, village houses on high stilts above the water. Return to the town and drop off.

Group: $544.00/group ( Max. 6 pax )

One Day Tour to Sambor Prei Kuk Group ( World Heritage Site )

Private Tour
This tour is ideal for those not bothered by longer drives in order to gain another perspective on temple touring. It's essential to leave Siem Reap early in the morning as getting to Sambor Prei Kuk takes approximately two and half hours. Consisting of dozens of impressive brick prasats in semi-cleared jungle, many ruins display excellent examples of early Khmer art. This pre-Angkorian complex is an important destination for the serious temple visitor. You will pause briefly at the Kampong Kdei Bridge. We also visit the stilted community of Kompong Khleang located on the northern edge of the Tonle Sap lake approximately 55km east of Siem Reap town. When the monsoon comes the waters rise up to one or two meters of the buildings. This is a permanent community with subsistence fishing as the main source of livelihood. This is also one of the largest communities on the Tonle Sap lake.

Private One Day to Banteay Srei, Beng Mealea and Rolous Group

Private Tour, Thing To Do
Rated 5.00 out of 5
This tour highlights temples located a little further beyond the main Angkor Archaeological Park. In the morning you will travel to a small temple of Banteay Srei well known for its beautiful delicate carvings in warm pink sandstone. This late 10th century temple is fairly compact and very different from other Angkorian temples. Once in a complete state of disrepair resembling a giant jigsaw puzzle, our next stop - Beng Mealea, has recently been made more accessible with the addition of a wooden walkway throughout the structure assuring a safe access and slight elevation, thus a better view. This mid 12th century temple features mixture of Buddhism and Hinduism attributes. Then, you will visit the late 9th century Hindu temples Bakong, Lolei and Preah Ko which are collectively known as the Rolous Temple Group. Let your guide show you the most attractive sites in this location, the most impressive being the pyramid-like Bakong surrounded by moat still containing water today.

Private Tour to Anlong Veng (Khmer Rouge Stronghold)

Private Tour, What To See
An interesting touring addition for those who have a little more time in Siem Reap and are keen to learn about the recent turbulent history of Cambodia. Anlong Veng lies 125km north of Siem Reap in the area of Dangrek Mountains which mark the border between Cambodia and Thailand. It appears on the touring map for two main reasons: it was the last stronghold of the Khmer Rouge and is the resting place of Pol Pot. Not much remains of Pol Pot's bunker but a shell of a house overgrown with foliage and “decorated” with profane graffiti. The province still has plenty of mine fields but these are away from the town centre and experts are working continuously on their clearance. Your guide will be able to shed more light on the last few decades and perhaps share the story of his/her family in those difficult times.
