Day 1:

Phnom Chiso, Tonle Bati and Tamao Zoo

Tonle Bati Our tour guide and driver will go to pick up you at the lobby of hotel. Then, transfer to visit Ta Prohm, built by King Jayavarman VII on the site of a 6th century Khmer shrine. You’ll see the main sanctuary which consists of five chambers, each with a lingam inside, and marvel at the tree that grows on and around the temple structure. We’ll then visit a temple surrounded by legend, Yeay Peau temple, named after King Ta Prohm’s mother.

Phnom Chisor

Phnom Chiso, a 133 m high and dedicated to the Hindu divinities Shiva and Vishnu. On the top, there is the Angkorian Temple built in the 11th century of laterite and bricks with carved sandstone lintels by the Khmer Empire king Suryavarman I with the original name Sri Suryaparvata (mean The Mountain of Sun).

Prasat Neang Khmau

Neang Khmao temple is positioned in the yard of Neang Khmao pagoda. This temple was built by King Jayavarman IV (AD 921-941) in the 10th century for the worship of Brahmanism. The site originally consisted of three temples built side by side, however, only two are still standing, and both are heavily damaged.

Tamao Mountain

Tamao Zoo is the largest zoo in Cambodia with over 1,200 animals including elephants, tigers, bears, gibbons, crocodiles and leopards.

Day 2:

Udong Hill & Long Vek Territory

Phnom Udong After breakfast, you will be picked up at the lobby of hotel and transferred to visit Udong Hill, the former capital city from 1618 AD to 1866 AD. We explore the sacred hills here, which include historic pagodas and several stupas containing the remains of Cambodia’s former kings. There are panoramic views over the Cambodian countryside in every direction.

Longvek After that, we go to visit Wat Traleng Keng, a beautiful contemporary and very important monastery that houses remnants of the ancient era. The large grounds feature two pagodas while ancient remains include a laterite base beneath the older of the two pagodas, ornate sema stones, and sandstone fragments. This pagoda is in the territory of Long Vek, the capital of the Kingdom of Cambodia from 1528 to 1594 during the Cambodia’s Middle Ages which began after the Khmer Empire’s Angkor Era. This city was chosen by King Ang Chan I. Longvek was one of the greatest cities in Cambodia.

Private One Day to Banteay Srei, Beng Mealea and Rolous Group

Private Tour, Thing To Do
Rated 5.00 out of 5
This tour highlights temples located a little further beyond the main Angkor Archaeological Park. In the morning you will travel to a small temple of Banteay Srei well known for its beautiful delicate carvings in warm pink sandstone. This late 10th century temple is fairly compact and very different from other Angkorian temples. Once in a complete state of disrepair resembling a giant jigsaw puzzle, our next stop - Beng Mealea, has recently been made more accessible with the addition of a wooden walkway throughout the structure assuring a safe access and slight elevation, thus a better view. This mid 12th century temple features mixture of Buddhism and Hinduism attributes. Then, you will visit the late 9th century Hindu temples Bakong, Lolei and Preah Ko which are collectively known as the Rolous Temple Group. Let your guide show you the most attractive sites in this location, the most impressive being the pyramid-like Bakong surrounded by moat still containing water today.

Private Siem Reap City Tour

Private Tour, Thing To Do

This tour is perfect for those with a little more time on their hands and those interested in the recent Cambodian history. The War Museum houses a wide array of weapons and military vehicles collected from Cambodian battlefields and will shed a light on the recent years of turmoil and explain what shaped the country you see today. Wat Thmei, the Memorial of Victims of the Khmer Rouge Regime, is another sobering reminder of the recent, turbulent past of Cambodia. To lighten up the mood a little we suggest a visit to the Artisans d'Angkor workshop where skilled artists produce gorgeous pieces of lacquer, stone carvings and silver plating and seeing them at work shows the positive direction of the path Cambodia finds itself on today. If you don't find your souvenirs and gifts here then perhaps the Old Market will have what you are looking for. Browse and use your bartering skills to bring home your memories of Siem Reap.

Private Tour to Preh Vihear Temple

Private Tour, What To See

Embark on an enriching journey where you'll get to know everything about this must-visit attraction with its ins and outs, its incredible history, insights, and fun facts. The more you explore, the more you'll discover why this place is so important to the locals and its cultural relevance. It's worth setting your alarm and leave early. Situated atop a 52 meter high cliff in the Dongrek Mountains forming the natural border between Cambodia and Thailand is Preah Vihear temple, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site on July 7th, 2008. Subject to controversial ownership issues over time this temple officially belongs to Cambodia. Its location is 150km north of Siem Reap and it will take approximately 3 hours to get there. You will drive through picturesque countryside which becomes less and less populated the further north you go. This temple is a unique architectural complex of series of sanctuaries linked by a system of pavements and staircases on 800 meter long axis. It is an outstanding masterpiece of Khmer architecture and well preserved mainly due to its remote location.
