Description
Day 01: Rolous Group & Angkor Wat
You will be picked up at hotel and transferred to Roluos Group such as Bakong, PrahKo, Lolei and Angkor Wat. Back to hotel and drop off.
Day 02: Banteay Srey- Preh Khan
You visit Banteay Srey well known for its beautiful delicate carvings in warm pink sandstone. Banteay Samre – a larger temple which is often overlooked by tourists and looks gorgeous. Neak Porn Temple, a small island temple located in the middle of the last baray. Next, visit Preah Khan Temple, a huge, highly explorable monastic complex. Return to hotel.
Day 03: Angkor Thom City & Taprohm
You visit South Gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon temple, Baphoun dedicated to Siva (Hindu), Phimean Akas built in late tenth century-beginning of the 11th century and dedicated to Hindu, Terrace of the Elephants, Terrace of the Leper King. Then, visit the temple of Ta Prohm, ethereal in aspect and conjures up a romantic aura. Back to hotel.
Day 04: Tonle Sap & City Tour
You visit Tonle Sap lake and Les Artisan D’Angkor, fine art School. Back to hotel and drop off.

This late 10th century temple is fairly compact and very different from other Angkorian temples. Once in a complete state of disrepair resembling a giant jigsaw puzzle, our next stop - Beng Mealea, has recently been made more accessible with the addition of a wooden walkway throughout the structure assuring a safe access and slight elevation, thus a better view. An interesting touring addition for those who have a little more time in Siem Reap and are keen to learn about the recent turbulent history of Cambodia. Anlong Veng lies 125km north of Siem Reap in the area of Dangrek Mountains which mark the border between Cambodia and Thailand. It appears on the touring map for two main reasons: it was the last stronghold of the Khmer Rouge and is the resting place of Pol Pot. Not much remains of Pol Pot's bunker but a shell of a house overgrown with foliage and “decorated” with profane graffiti. The province still has plenty of mine fields but these are away from the town centre and experts are working continuously on their clearance. Subject to controversial ownership issues over time this temple officially belongs to Cambodia. Its location is 150km north of Siem Reap and it will take approximately 3 hours to get there. You will drive through picturesque countryside which becomes less and less populated the further north you go. This temple is a unique architectural complex of series of sanctuaries linked by a system of pavements and staircases on 800 meter long axis. It is an outstanding masterpiece of Khmer architecture and well preserved mainly due to its remote location.

Private Trekking Tour to The World Heritage Temples

A perfect tour for the active visitor! The Angkor Archaeological Park is a largely shaded forested area, so if you wish to combine your temple sightseeing with a healthy dose of walking, this tour is for you! You will be dropped off at Spean Neak bridge and start your walk to Angkor Wat Temple. Then, keep walking on the 8m high laterite wall to the East Gate (Death Gate). This short section of the wall has a clear worn path which is used by local traffic, occasionally you may meet people collecting wood and going on about their daily business. Through breaks in the forest canopy, you will be able to glance at the Angkor Thom moat below and on the other side the slope into the dense jungle. Back on level ground you will pass Prasat Pram Pi Lveng and continue to the Khleang temple group and the Preah Pithu Group, Tanei and Taprohm Temples. Although in plain sight and passed by many, these temples are rarely explored and thus well worth a short stop. You are almost guaranteed to have them to yourself!
